honey label

this is a label i made a while back for a freelance piece. it hasn't been mass produced yet, so in the mean time i'm vamping it up for my portfolio. i'm creating two more labels and making a little gift set of them! the next one i am going to make is orange blossom, the third one is still up in the air. i guess it depends on what kind i find to fill the bottle with.

i can't wait to see the final result! im planning on making a little crate with some hay or something to hold them in, it's going to be very DIY! i don't know about you, but i love lubalin graph!! it's added to my list of favorites for sure! right up there with helvetica and futura. the G and H fit like a glove huh!?

process recess

i always think its nice to see the process a piece of work goes through, so i wanted to share mine with you. this is some art i'm working on that is doubling as a class assignment and as a freelance piece. the bottle its going on is really oddly shaped, so the print of it is going to be like 1 1/5 x 5 inches. very hard to come up with a decent lay out. 

this was the layout after i scanned in my ink drawings.

not on crack, just on mac

so here's what i did in my class on monday. it was a test. &lets hope i did well since i'm not doing so hot in that class. 

i also finished my website in it's entirety, and i'm so proud of it! now i just need to buy a domain so i can be professional and have a website of my very own. if i can manage to get a picture of it, i'll be sure to post it. it's a very me design, true to my roots of art and video games. =]
